Sewer Rehabilitation Closures
Work continues on the Sprague Sewer Rehabilitation project in Winston-Salem. A contractor will close the following streets weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday, Sept. 22:
- Peachtree Street between Verdun Street and Junia Avenue
- Junia Avenue between Sunnyside Avenue and Lomond Street
Work is expected to be completed by Friday, Sept. 26, weather permitting. The contractor is responsible for all traffic control. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and plan for alternate routes.
A contractor will close a lane of Roslyn Road between Greenbrier and Robinhood roads in Winston-Salem weekdays Sept. 22 through 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for water system improvements and repaving.
The contractor is responsible for all traffic control and detours will be in place. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and plan for alternate routes.
Kernersville Sewer Rehabilitation Closures
Work continues on sewer rehabilitation projects in Kernersville. A contractor will close the following streets starting Sunday, Sept. 21. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, Sept. 26, weather permitting.
- McKaughan Street between Edgewood Street and Michael Street, Sept. 22-26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Bodenhamer Street between Burke Street and N. Main Street, OVERNIGHT Sept. 21 and 22, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day
- E. Mountain Street between both ends of Allen Street, OVERNIGHT Sept. 24 and 25, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day
