The contractor is responsible for all traffic control and detours will be in place. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and plan for alternate routes.
Sewer Rehab Closures
Work continues on sewer rehabilitation projects in Winston-Salem. A contractor will close the following streets to through traffic weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 4-8:
- 32nd Street between Shorefair Drive and Indiana Avenue
- Cassell Street between Starlight Drive and Palmer Lane
- Merrimont Drive between Turkey Hill Road and Partridge Lane
- Nissen Avenue between Waughtown and Sprague streets
- Pembrooke Road between Edgeware Road and Menfreya Court
- Rawson Street between Monmouth Street and Acadia Avenue
- Stedman Street between Lowery Street and the dead-end
- Wells Street between Freeman and Brookline streets
