Every Cent Counts!
We invite you to help us GIVE HOPE and share in the care of our guests by donating your coins during our Annual Penny Campaign. In most American homes, an average of $113 in coins can be found lying around in drawers or in between couch cushions (mybanktracker.com). Spare that change for something bigger!
Every Cent Counts:
- It only takes 366 pennies to provide a warm meal in our Soup Kitchen. We serve over 100,000 meals each year!
- We offer over 450 men a safe place to rest and create a better life, especially during colder weather.
- Project Cornerstone gives those in substance abuse recovery the time and resources to overcome their addiction.
Penny Campaign Facts:
- The Penny Campaign is from November 1 through December 31.
- Collection Day is Saturday, December 7 from 9 AM – Noon at the Truist Stadium. Come and see WXII 12 Chief Meteorologist, Lanie Pope, our honorary co-chair.
- Pick up your collection jars at Samaritan Ministries from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday.
Get involved today and invite your school, church, civic group, and business to participate. With your help, we can pour back into the Winston-Salem community to bring a warm meal, safe shelter and friendly smile to our hungry and homeless neighbors.
How to Gift Your Change?
- Donate Online or by Mail: mail your gift to Samaritan Ministries, 414 E. Northwest Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
- Pick up a Jar: at our location to collect coins, bills, and checks.
