Help Raise the Roof at Historic Bethabara Park!

Historic Bethabara Park is having a fundraiser to raise the roof for a new roof for the historic Buttner house. The house, built in 1803 is the earliest known distiller’s house in the United States. You can get tickets at the upcoming “BOO! at Bethabara” event on  Saturday, October 26th from 1:30 to 4:30 pm. Listen to some spooky song selections in the 1788 Gemeinhaus; meet a few “spirits” of Bethabara’s past during a walk to God’s Acre; gather under a tent to hear ghost stories by acclaimed storyteller Cynthia Moore Brown; make a scarecrow and/or a corn husk doll; play Colonial games; get your face painted; take part in a scavenger hunt; and explore the Forsyth County Public Library Bookmobile. Admission is FREE!
